Confection de mon plaid
Il y a bien longtemps, je voulais broder sur un plaid, j'ai donc regardé les prix...et là j'ai laissé tombé mon idée du plaid en voyant les prix exhorbitants (75€ pour un plaid...
), mais l'idée me restait dans un coin de la tête...
Et il y a 2 jours (30/07), je me suis décidée à le confectionner moi même...Un plaid de 140 x 100 cm qui ornera la chambre de ma fille d'ici 2006.
Pourquoi 2006 me direz vous...et bien simplement car j'ai décidé de broder ce plaid avec 11 autres brodeurs lors d'une ronde.
Le thème : les Cherished Teddies de Gloria & Pat
Le temps de rotation de cette ronde 2 mois et demi.
J'ai donc réalisé mon plaid avec un morceau (énorme) d'aïda 9 qui a la particularité d'être très fine, très douce et souple. Je vais lui faire des franges sur les 2 cotés les plus long et faire un ourlet sur les 2 cotés courts.
J'ai donc brodé une ligne de demi-points sur toute la longueur de mon plaid, puis j'ai démonté l'aïda pour faire les franges que j'ai ensuite nouées par paquet de 20 ou 25. J'ai mis près de 4h pour faire le premier coté...il me reste maintenant à délimiter les 26 cases qui contiendront chacune un ourson et le 2° coté de franges à faire...autant dire qu'il me reste une bonne dizaine d'heures de travail avant de pouvoir broder sur mon plaid fait maison (et qui ne m'aura pas couté 75€ !!!). 1° jour de travail : le premier coté de franges est terminé
au bout de 3 jours de travail (environ 10h) : les franges sont terminées des deux côtés, et j'ai délimité 6 cases en haut du plaid.
Je dois encore délimiter 20 cases et ça sera fini pour la préparation de la ronde. J'ai choisi de broder 1 ourson seul et 1 couple d'ourson...A SUIVRE !
La suite :
Nous sommes aujourd'hui le 11 aout, j'ai terminé de délimiter mes cases depuis le 5 aout et j'ai commencé à broder mon 1° ourson 
, pas de photo pour le moment mais il y en aura surement une très prochainement
